Who we are

HSBC Electronic Data Service Delivery S.A.E (HEDS) is one of the Global Service Centers (GSCs) operating from eight countries which form an integral part of HSBC’s Global Operations. We were established in 2010 and commenced our operations from our Smart Village premises in the 6th of October district, with just 85 employees. We currently have over 2,000 employees with continuous growth plans. We began with servicing the MENAT region and have expanded to cover several other markets across Europe and the world, becoming a comprehensive business services unit that supports HSBC customers and businesses across more than 40 different countries in three main languages: Arabic, English, and French.

What we do

Our GSCs process roughly 1.7 trillion customer transactions each year. The GSC Cairo team plays a vital role in driving great experiences for customers and stakeholders and enables the bank’s strategy. We deliver high-quality financial and professional services which include transactions for our retail and corporate banking clients, managing customer inquiries through contact centers and digital platforms, facilitating payments and credit applications, screening and mitigating financial crime risk, facilitating global publishing services, and managing core trade transactions for customers around the world. With a focus on streamlining & innovation, we are also currently facilitating safe growth for our businesses through the recent introduction of additional Global Functions Services in GSC Cairo. This includes non-financial risk management, data management and analytics, as well as risk and compliance.
